FIRSTLY: Please make sure you have a Pulse Oxymeter to check oxygen saturation many times a day. This is a small device with a slot to keep your finger in, and it will read your oxygen levels and pulse rate. Available in all medical shops. Around 3000-4000 rupees usually.
WARNING: A doctor will recommend a concentrator if you oxygen falls below 92 usually. Please use this ONLY after a doctor consultation. You need to know how to operate/how much oxygen to give - it can prove fatal otherwise. People who install it will usually give you details. But first consult a doctor.

Tips from a neighbour who has used it for a family member:
"U need the personal masks .
-A plug for connecting the concentrator and u r good to go.
there is valve to set the needed oxygen (1-6 ltr) max.
Keep oxymeter nearby so that u can keep checking oxygen level.
-Keep eye on the water filled bottle. Need to refill it as soon as water is at the min level.
The oxygen concentrators are not very useful if the oxygen levels are below 80-82. So if levels are below 80-82 , doc advises to get admitted. Anything above patient can manage with deep breathing and concentrators."
